ALL CAMPING FEES ARE SUBJECT TO MAINE'S 7% LODGING TAX

* Water & Electric Hook-ups: There are a number of campsites with water and electric hook-ups at Sebago Lake and Camden Hills State Parks. These hook-up sites are $25.00 per night for Maine residents and $35.00 per night for non-residents.

Off Season Camping Fees - $ 10.00 resident, $18.00 non-resident; water/electric sites - $15.00 resident and $25.00 non-resident. Off-season rates apply when parks are not accepting campground reservations.

Campsite Reservation Fee - All campsite fees are per site, per night. An additional fee, of $2.00 per night, per site, will be charged for reservations. Reservations cannot be made for campsites in the Penobscot River Corridor, or the Allagash Wilderness Waterway.

 

GROUP CAMPING FEES AND EXEMPTION GUIDELINES

Group Camping Area Reservation Fee - $25.00, nonrefundable.
At those facilities where special group campsites are available and where prior reservations have been made, organized groups of campers shall pay $3.00 per person, per night. There is a minimum group camping fee of $30.00 per night. Click here to view Group Camping page.

Exemption Guidelines - Groups are not exempt from fees on Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and labor Day weekends, and on Saturday and Sundays in June, July and August. With prior approval from the Bureau's regional offices, no camping fee will be charged for the following (for exemption application information, please call 207-287-2209):

  • State of Maine organized group programs for residents of State and Federal institutions
  • State of Maine organized group programs for disadvantaged or persons with disabilities
  • State of Maine school/education programs during the school year (September through July 1 - no application needed, contact the park directly)

ALLAGASH WILDERNESS WATERWAY FEES

Resident: $4.00 per person-per night.
Non-resident: $8.00 per person-per night
Children under 10 years of age - free.
Winter fee - Chamberlain Thoroughfare Bridge parking lot and the Kellogg Brook site, $50.00/month per site.

PENOBSCOT RIVER CORRIDOR FEES

Resident: $4.00 per person-per night
Nonresident: $8.00 per person-per night
Children under 10 years of age - free.

MISCELLANEOUS FEES

  • Boat, Canoe, Kayak and Paddle Boat Rentals - $3 per hour - where available.
  • Boat Launching Fee - For park access, limited to parking and boat launching, the daily fee for launching trailered boats shall be the posted per person day-use fee or $5 per vehicle, whichever is less. The maximum fee for any trailered boat access shall be $5 - where available.
  • Songo Lock - $3 per boat, per passage. Boats requiring both gates open - special arrangements must be made.
  • Commercial Bus Tours - $30/bus/trip - where available (reservations required; call the park).
  • Campground Visitors - Will be admitted by paying the day use fee or using their season passes.
  • Dumping Station - $5 per unit (day-use customers), where permitted - where available.
