Welcome to the Maine State Park Campground Reservations Service

Following the Governor’s April 28 Executive Order, Maine State Park Campgrounds will be closed until June 1, 2020. Camping in June will be restricted to Maine residents, and non-residents who have met the 14 day quarantine requirement.

It is mandated that all out-of-state travelers coming into Maine, as well as Maine residents returning to Maine, complete a 14-day quarantine upon arrival. To meet this mandate, you must quarantine upon arriving in Maine, not prior to your arrival, and you cannot quarantine at the campground. This means prior to arriving at the campground you must:

  • Arrive with enough food for 14 days or arrange to have food delivered to you. You cannot go out to grocery stores.
  • Stay at home. You cannot go out to public places, including state parks.
  • Avoid contact with others, especially those who are at high risk of severe COVID-19 illness.
  • If you will be in Maine for fewer than 14 days, plan to quarantine for the length of your stay.
  • You can take a walk or enjoy the outdoors as long as you stay 6 feet away from others and avoid heavily traveled paths or trails.

When you arrive at the campground, you will be required to sign and date a form that states that you and everyone in your camping party have met the 14-day quarantine requirement prior to the date when you arrive at the park.

Thank you for adhering to this important Executive Order Issued by Governor Janet Mills.
