Welcome to the Maine State Park Campground Reservations Service

State Park Campgrounds - Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on July 3, camping in Maine State Parks is open to residents of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, without need of a 14-day quarantine or testing. All other visitors must continue to follow the 14-day quarantine requirement or negative COVID-19 testing. All visitors are required to carry a mask at all times and be prepared to wear one in public buildings and when physical distancing cannot be maintained. Until July 3, camping in Maine is for residents of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, and others who have met the quarantine and testing requirements. People who are not from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut must complete a Certificate of Compliance form indicating:

  1. that they have received a negative COVID-19 test result,
  2. that they will quarantine in Maine for 14 days, or
  3. that they have already completed their quarantine in Maine.

The Certificate of Compliance form must be provided to check in to all campgrounds. Visitors may be asked to furnish proof of the negative test upon request. The Certificate of Compliance form and additional COVID-19 travel details are available here.

2020 Reservations begin on:

  • 2/3/2020 for ONLY Sebago Lake State Park.
  • 2/7/2020 for all 12 of the State Park Family Camping sites.

Internet Reservations continue through to 9/11/2020 until 4:00 p.m.

The Call Center closes on 9/11/2020 at 4:00 p.m.

On 9/14/2020 all campsites become first come/first serve.

The Bureau of Maine State Parks and Lands’ Reservations System and Call Center will open for Sebago Lake State Park campground reservations on Monday, February 3, at 9:00 a.m., and for all state park campgrounds on Friday, February 7, at 9:00 a.m.

Online-reservation “start-days” are once again being split, with reservations being taken first for the very popular Sebago Lake campsites, starting on Monday, February 3.

The only fee increases for the 2020 season are for the NEW electric/water hookup campsites at: Aroostook, Mt. Blue, Rangeley Lake and Sebago Lake (Naples Beach) State Park Campgrounds. Fees, however, do vary from campground to campground, with the highest fees for non-residents who want sites with water and electric hookups.

We will begin accepting the Group Camping and Group Shelter reservations, for all parks, by telephone only, at 9:00 A.M., on Monday, February 3. There are specific telephone numbers for these reservations, so for the contact information, please see the links listed below:
